are you ready for some football!!!
with the years big game coming up this sunday, i thought it’d be fun to post a three-part series featuring some seriously fun food for entertaining!
today, we’ll kick things off with these zesty chili-lime mixed nuts
these chili-lime mixed nuts are kissed with just a little bit of homemade love + enough effort to impress but not deliver overkill to your hosting or guest vibe.
the chipotle chili powder delivers a bit of smoke + a touch of heat, while the finishing touch of lime zest sends these over the flavor edge.
why mixed nuts, you ask?
ever been to a pub? ever been to a pub with nuts {easy gutter minds} on the tables for the beer-drinkers enjoyment?
well, we’re using a bit of that theory mixed with if there is one thing that everyone loves at a superbowl party, it’s finger foods! so, these chili-lime mixed nuts are the perfect dish to set out on tables around the house for your guests to munch on in between trips up to the food table.
this recipe only takes minutes of your -and your ovens- time AND can be made up to two days in advance! so if you’re cooking up a huge spread or have a busy weekend leading up to a friends party – mix + roast these fellas up at your convenience + seal ‘em airtight before party time!
check in tomorrow, as i’ll be kicking things into buffalo gear with another crowd-pleasing appetizer for your football festivities!
